Digital AV Navigator Super HiVi CAST Check & Adjustment

It was in the spring of 2004 when "HiVi CAST" was released as the ultimate testing disc for sound and vision for the home theatre. Know-how information for the sound and vision had been gathered since our audio-visual magazine "HiVi" was first published.This DVD product, which was compiled with our know-how, received great popularity all over Japan immediately. At that time, HiVi CAST was created using state-of-the-art technology. After that, the trend was oriented to Hi-Vision systems, and recently, we received many voices wanting a HiVi CAST HD version. However, although the atmosphere and hype for this version was high, we decided to wait considering that the high-density optical disc format had not been established. In addition, most of the general public did not possess the necessary equipment for the Hi-Vision disc reproduction. This situation changed in the beginning of 2008 with the announcement of the retreat of HD DVD from the market. It is well known that, the rapid spread of Blu-ray disc (BD) has been remarkable in recent years, with many people purchasing new Blu-ray recorders or players in 2008.
